M.I.A. Reflection

We recently completed a new project called M.I.A. (Maya, Inca and Aztec). We learned about 3 different civilizations. We learned in depth about these 3 civilizations. We chose 1 specific peoples to research. I chose the Aztecs. Aztecs are always the first "Indians" most people think of when they hear the word "Indian". This project stood out far more than other projects. This project was very fun. Two concepts to demonstrate this are the skits we performed and photoshop pictures that we made. We had to write historical fiction stories. That means it's a fictional story but it incorporates historical references. After we wrote the stories, we got to make skits out of them! It was really fun. To make the audience experience more real, we made photoshop pictures. We had to take a picture of our face to the body of someone from a person (or animal) from the civilization we chose. Overall, I think it was really fun and I'm glad I got the grade I got.
